I didn’t always believe in energy healing. I’m a scientist at heart. When I began practicing Jin Shin Jyutsu, I was feeling pretty jaded towards the institution of Western medicine. This was riding on the heels of my Dad’s being treated for and then passing from colon cancer. The whole experience is proving to be just the thing I needed to spark my exploration into other ways of creating balance, and allowing healing. Did I mention how grateful I am to have this opportunity?
Let’s start at “the beginning”. There’s a theory floating around out there suggesting that God/Source/Spirit created water, and then water co-created the rest of our reality. For me, this is a pretty tasty concept for chewing on. Water molecules are unique in that they have the ability to absorb energy, change form as a result of that which was ingested, and then share this ”new” energy with its surroundings. The human body is anywhere from 60-85% water. Indeed, water is necessary for just about everything; even to burn gasoline, there needs to be a slight presence of water in the fuel.
